Creating innovative materials from upcycled seashells for more sustainable architecture
Our Origins
While certain resources are becoming scarce, the sea continues to generate resources we overlook.
That’s what Tanguy, Théo, Maxime, and Camille discovered in 2020 in Riec-sur-Bélon, in southern Finistère, while working alongside Breton oyster farmers. Oyster and scallop shells, although abundant, are not recycled: without a dedicated recovery channel, they end up buried in landfill. They decided to tackle the issue at its source: transforming these overlooked volumes into a recycled, low-carbon material, entirely produced in France. A way of reversing the usual production logic, revealing rather than extracting.
Our Commitments
Our commitment is simple: to offer a material that fits within a virtuous cycle, and to prove that sustainability, performance, and aesthetic excellence can coexist without compromise.
